KRAMER PRODUCTIONS partnered with Public Strategies to provide full audio, video, lighting, staging, and content support for the Oklahoma WIC State Conference, held April 19–22, 2026 at the Edmond Conference Center in Edmond, Oklahoma. The four-day statewide training brought together hundreds of WIC professionals from across Oklahoma for general sessions, keynote presentations, clinical education, and interactive game-show programming.

The main room was anchored by a 30’ x 11’ 2.6mm LED wall built from THOR ELMNT panels and driven by a NovaStar MX2000 Pro processor over fiber. The wall was framed with a custom scenic surround built around the conference’s bright “Statewide” brand palette, giving every session a clean, on-theme canvas for slides, video playback, IMAG, and animated content. The existing venue stage was extended with additional decking to carry the wall, and two 16:9 venue projection screens carried IMAG and content to the outer edges of the ballroom.

Lighting design layered Chauvet Maverick Force S Spot key fixtures, Rogue R2X washes, COLORado PXL Bar 16 battens, and a full complement of Ovation CYC 1 FC uplights to wash the room and scenic walls. Programmed on a GrandMA2 Lite, looks moved with the program — focused and neutral for presenters and clinical content, saturated and high-energy for the Jeopardy-style general session and awards moments.

Audio was covered by an Allen & Heath SQ5 console with a Dante-networked stage box feeding RCF ART-912A tops and SUB-708as subwoofers, with eight Sennheiser EW-DX wireless channels across handhelds, beltpacks, and headworn mics on an RF Venue distribution system. A wireless comm system supported up to sixteen positions across the room and back of house.

Video production ran three Blackmagic URSA Broadcast G2 cameras (two tripod, one handheld) with Fujinon broadcast glass, cut live from a Blackmagic ATEM 2 M/E flypack with camera control, multiviewing, and HyperDeck recording. Presenter support included a 100” back-of-room teleprompter, downstage confidence monitors, and Perfect Cue presentation control, plus dedicated computers running TINT and Slido for live audience interaction and photo walls. A video world in the hallway extended content beyond the main room, and full black pipe and drape masked all back-of-house entrances.

Two breakout rooms ran in parallel using venue projection with supplied playback computers, Perfect Cue remotes, reallocated PA and wireless microphone packages, and room uplighting to keep the look consistent with the main room. Power for the entire footprint was distributed from a 400A tour pack backed by a 150kW generator.

Our team also handled content creation leading up to the event — animated graphics, session intro slides, and show packaging — along with on-site content changes throughout the conference as the run of show evolved.
